CES 2009 - Day by Day
Day 1:
Pioneer’s CES 2009 started off with a double bang - Pioneer’s new portable XMp3 player was announced as a Portable Media Players Design & Engineering Showcase Honoree. The Pioneer AVIC-F900BT navigation system was also awarded the distinction of CES Innovation Honoree in the In-vehicle Navigation category.
Both the XMp3 player and the AVIC-F900BT were on full display inside the Pioneer Vault, which is open to all and just a few steps from the three Pioneer demo cars and brand new Pioneer products.
Day 2:
With the new Pioneer® Blu-ray Disc® players, AV Receivers and new in-wall speakers, Pioneer’s “whole home HD” focus maximizes the award-winning KURO™ HDTV technology. With the new Blu-ray Disc players as the ultimate home entertainment source, the new AV receivers as the HD control center, and the new in-wall architectural speakers as the create the output, Pioneer showcases a home entertainment system that works together to create a flawless movie experience.
Day 3:
Inside the KURO theater, Pioneer looks toward the big screen as inspiration for each product. Reaching out to movie producers, cinematographers, directors and other industry artists, Pioneer engineers can create speakers and Blu-ray Disc players that capture the true essence of the movie.
Day 4:
With the show floor settling down a little bit, CES attendees at the Pioneer booth were given a special treat – in the driver’s seat of some of Pioneer demo cars. With an eclectic mix of sport, luxury, and utility, the Cadillac® CTS, Mercedes-Benz® CLK and Toyota FJ Cruiser® demo cars are all equipped with the top of the line Pioneer Premier sound systems.
