Does a computer always have to be connected??

The CDJ-850 is not connected directly to the "rekordbox" music management software. Music files managed with rekordbox on the PC/Mac are exported to a USB device which is then inserted into the CDJ-850 for DJ play. To control other brands of DJ software, the CDJ-850 must always be connected to the computer.
