Can sound played with iTunes be input to the DJM-5000?

Yes.
Set the sound setting on the computer to the DJM-5000.
For Windows, the signals are input to the DJM-5000's channel 4. The sound cannot be input to other channels.For Mac, channels 2, 3 or 4 can be specified at the speaker settings under audio settings in the environmental settings.

* Not usable simultaneously with ASIO.
