Effect sounds cannot be monitored even when the BEAT EFFECTS - CUE button is pressed.?

The circuitry generating the [ECHO], [SPIRAL], [REVERB], [MELODIC], [ROLL], [SLIP ROLL] and [REV ROLL] echoes is positioned after the effect circuitry, so the effect sounds cannot be monitored. This post-effect design is meant to ensure natural reverberations when the sound is cut with the channel fader.
This is not a malfunction.
