I installed the driver software but am having trouble connecting?

After installing, restart the computer.

Check the driver software's version (page 11 of the operating instructions). If the version window or the version itself is not properly displayed, installation has not completed properly. Reinstall the driver software on the computer.

The DJM-5000 may not be properly recognized. Close the DJ application and disconnect the USB cable, then start the DJ application back up.
