When connecting the DVD player to a television, you will need to use the Audio/Video connector cables to connect the cables to the appropriate Audio/Video inputs on your television.
Once you have connected the Audio/Video cables, you will then need to select the appropriate A/V input. Please refer to you television’s instruction manual if you are not sure how to switch the inputs.
If your television does not offer Audio/Video inputs, you will need to purchase an RF modulator.
This will be a small box that will have composite Audio/Video inputs on one side and a Coaxial RF output on the other. This device will allow you to view the DVD Recorder on channel 3 or channel 4.
I’m connecting my DVD to my TV and can’t get to the setup menu of the DVD recorder? What should I do?
When connecting the DVD Recorder to a TV, you will need to use the Audio/Video connectors. You cannot see the DVD videos or the setup menu through the Coaxial RF output.
