Why did the TV Guide stop working on my DVD Recorder?

The TV Guide version in this model requires TV Guide data be received via an analog signal. Since analog broadcasts have been removed, an analog to digital tuner will be necessary.

The process requires the digital tuner be set up as a cable box, so the TV Guide can control the box.
TV Guide has tested two manufacturers of converters, Artec and DTVPal from DishNetwork.
