Pioneer Electronics (USA) Inc. today unveiled its new line of GM-series car stereo amplifiers designed to provide high quality audio with strong power output. Installing any of the five new Pioneer amplifiers into a vehicle will provide the driver and passengers with audio quality that has better fidelity and increased dynamic range. The overall impact of a good quality amplifier is like the difference between listening to music with earplugs in versus without. To enjoy the full quality of today’s digital satellite radio or the latest CD release, it’s important to have high quality speakers and amplifiers.
“Adding an amplifier to a vehicle brings new life to the audio system of an older car or one fresh off the dealer’s lot. A better sounding car audio system equates to a better driving experience,” said Larry Rougas, vice president of marketing and product planning for the mobile entertainment division of Pioneer Electronics (USA) Inc.
Consumers will be able to choose from five amplifiers in the line:
All five amplifiers are now available at suggested prices ranging from $100 to $200.
Looks Good, Sounds Great
For consumers interested in special installations, where looks are as important as sound quality, the GM series amplifiers offer a smooth, refined look. Each has a black heat sink complimented by a brushed aluminum center and blue LED power light. Large cast aluminum heat sinks are used for increased heat dissipation for cooler operation with tremendous reliability. Oversized power terminals and speaker level inputs offer more flexibility in installation while the built-in crossovers provide better audio control.
