Pioneer Electronics (USA) Inc., the established leader in mobile entertainment products, today released its new GM-X series amplifiers for the value conscious consumer - combining power, performance and cosmetic appeal.
The new line of amplifiers was re-engineered for higher power output, without sacrificing sound quality. The GM-X962, GM-X562, GM-X362, GM-X564 and GM-X364 provide more power at an affordable price range. Beginning at $100, the amplifiers have higher nominal power ratings than previous models and are stable in a 2-Ohm stereo configuration. In addition, the 2-channel amplifiers can be bridged to 4-Ohm mono to produce more power than the rated power specifications.
"We have a winning line up of amplifiers this year," said Michael Townsen, vice president of marketing for mobile entertainment at Pioneer Electronics (USA) Inc. "We've focused on creating a line of amplifiers that's competitive in all categories: looks, performance and best of all, at a price anyone can afford."
Appealing to a young, hip image-conscious consumer, the GM-X amps have a sleek design with a silver ball burnished aluminum finish. Side panels are painted blue and the top of the amplifiers are grated for maximum cooling. The low profile and consistent family look of the amps make them easy to install and display.
