Pioneer Electronics (USA) Inc., the world's largest car speaker manufacturer, introduced today a new generation of TS-A speakers designed to transform the look and sound of any vehicle. The new line, which includes sizes of 6"x9", 6"x8" and 6-1/2" incorporates advanced performance materials with the cosmetic design of Pioneer's extremely popular REV speakers. Consumers interested in getting the most bang-for-the-buck in replacement of their current speakers will find Pioneer's TS-A speakers to be the perfect fit for their audio needs.

Pioneer and Premier TS-A speakers feature:

• Interlaced aramid fiber Reinforced IMPP Cone - Pioneer blends aramid fiber strands into its IMPP cone to create a very rigid but also light cone. Pioneer's new blue cone provides the same natural sound found in paper with the strength and durability needed for the harsh mobile environment.
• Second Generation Pearl PolyCarbon (PPC) Midrange - Produced using a similar technique used for foamed IMPP cones, the foamed Pearl PolyCarbon midrange/tweeter is an exceptionally light material that can efficiently produce high frequency sound. The second generation PPC midrange provides extended frequency response and smoother transition between midrange and woofer.
• Increased Power Handling - By incorporating larger gauge voice coil wires and a glass- imide voice coil bobbin, Pioneer was able to increase power handling in the TS-A speakers.
• REV Cosmetic design - Much like its REV series counterpart, Pioneer incorporated the six- spoke grill design in the new line of speakers. The aggressive cosmetic design and the blue interlaced aramid fiber IMPP cone dresses up any vehicle interior, giving it a refreshed look sought out by the Tuner market.
• Butyl Rubber Surround - In the step-up models, butyl rubber surrounds were incorporated to allow a more linear movement of the cone resulting in less distortion and clean midbass response.
