One of the first things that may surprise you when you take a shiny new Blu-ray Disc^® for a spin is how easy it is to use. That's because the menus are now seamlessly integrated with the content. No more stopping the movie to access features through the menu screen. With Blu-ray you can turn on subtitles or go to another chapter without ever leaving the film.

A new feature called BD-Java makes even more sophisticated interactivity possible, so movies on Blu-ray Discs can include unique bonus features you'll actually want to use. For example, imagine being able to go a few rounds with the main character during a film about sports. Or adding up the clues right alongside the detective in a thriller. Or enjoying a more involving director's commentary complete with on-screen graphics. The possibilities are endless. And they're not limited to films. Interactive educational content can now make learning that much more fun and relevant for kids and adults alike. And futuristic video games in high definition on Blu-ray are going to be even more compelling. Be sure to read the package before you buy. Interactive features will vary from disc to disc, depending on what content the studios decide to make available for each title.
