Don't wake the neighborhood - Headphones are a gamer's best friend!

If the release of the much-anticipated Xbox 360™ was the highlight of your year and you find yourself feeding midnight cravings for car chases, sports and battles, then you have likely discovered a new era of entertainment. You may also be feeling the wrath of your family members, roommates or neighbors. Wireless Dolby Digital® headphones from Pioneer allow you to feed your craving for games while also preserving the sanity of everyone in your home.
As video games continue to evolve, so should your sound system! Pioneer's SE-DIR800C wireless headphones simulate the sum of direct and reflected signals from ‘virtual’ speakers to create high quality surround-sound as it would be experienced in a traditional home theater.
They process Dolby Digital and DTS® surround sound as well as Dolby Pro Logic II™ from a gaming console, DVD player, or CD player connected through the optical or coaxial input. The closed, dynamic type headphones have a frequency response of 12 to 22,000 Hz and an impedance of 32 Ohms. The control unit uses infrared technology to send the digital audio signal to the headphones. The headphone batteries are rechargeable through the control unit.
All of that basically means that they provide a detailed, high performance and truly stunning surround sound experience. You control the decibel level and also have three room-type settings to choose from based on the acoustic measurements of your room. So you can have the immersive audio experience that suits you, regardless of the size or shape of the room. You can enjoy every squeal of the tires, clash of the swords, crack of a bat and roar of the crowd without disturbing anyone else at home.
By the way, they offer super-soft earphone enclosures so the entire ear is cushioned for greater comfort.
We can't promise you won't get so involved in the game that you shout out loud with the crowd but if you aren't immersing yourself in the rich sound effects of today's games, you're missing a key player.
NOTE: Headphones should be used at a safe decibel level and should not be used for extended periods of time in order to protect against hearing loss.
