1. Copying files

   Copy the master file folders named "Updater" and "Read Me" over to the root directory of your USB memory device.
   Note: Do not open the "Updater" folder and copy the individual files from within the "Updater" folder over separately. 
   The "Updater" file must be copied over in its entireity or the software update will not work.
   Please do not change any file and folder names. This may also cause updating problems or installation errors.

2. Executing update

   Be sure to check the version of the software you are using on your Elite plasma before updating the new software version.
   You can check using with the following procedure:

      1)  Press HOME MENU.
      2)  Select "Home Media Gallery" (Up/Down then ENTER Key).
      3)  Select "Setup" (Up/Down then ENTER Key).
      4)  Select "Home Media Gallery Version" (Up/Down then ENTER Key).
           Jot down the Home Media Gallery Version displayed in the screen.
                 Ex.) software Version:1.0.121
      5)  Select "OK" to return to the previous screen (ENTER).

   Insert your USB memory device containing the update files into USB terminal of your plasma television.
   Then begin the updating execution. Please refer to the following instructions for updating:
   For procedures, you can also refer to the "Software Update" section in the plasma operating instructions.

      1) Press HOME MENU.
      2) Select "Home Media Gallery" (Up/Down then ENTER Key).
      3) Select "Setup" (Up/Down then ENTER Key).
      4) Select "Software Update" (Up/Down then ENTER Key).
           A "Software Update" submenu appears.

      5) Select "Next" (Right/Left then ENTER Key).
          The next screen appears. Complete the procedure following the instructions on the screen.

      6) Press ENTER after the following steps are complete:
          "Download", "Write" and "Verify"
           A restart prompt screen appears.

      7) Press ENTER after reading the warning notice on the screen.
         The system is restarted then the Home Media Gallery screen returns.
         Software update is finished.

   NOTE:
   On average, it may take 15 minutes or more to complete a software update.

   Be sure to check that the version of the software you have just installed has been changed by comparing with the one    written down after updating the software.
   (This is to ensure you have installed the version of Home Media Gallery specified above.)

   If it has not changed, the update may have failed.
   Please attempt the update process again.
   (The existing software will remain installed even if the new software installation failed.)
