MIXTRAX is an innovative Pioneer technology that creates a non-stop mix of your music library complete with a range of DJ-inspired effects. Drawing from Pioneer’s rich DJ heritage with our passion for music, MIXTRAX delivers a unique DJ infused listening experience to listeners in the car. MIXTRAX takes the music from an iPod, iPhone, or USB device and plays it back with added transitions and effects, creating a virtual DJ inside the AVH-X4500BT .

MIXTRAX works by first having the MIXTRAX PC software automatically analyze a track’s BPM, bar, beat position, vocal position and mood, then adds the analyzed data to the music file. The AVH-X4500BT reads the embedded MIXTRAX data from your audio device as you enjoy precise, full featured non-stop mixes in your vehicle complete with album art that dances to the beat!. You can also experience MIXTRAX as an app for the iPhone and using AppRadioMode to control the MIXTRAX app through the receiver's touchscreen display.

HANDS-FREE CALLING AND AUDIO STREAMING

Stay safe and obey local hands-free laws with built-in Bluetooth® (HFP). With Secure Simple Pairing, you can easily pair a Bluetooth® enabled phone to the AVH-X4500BT without having to enter pin codes or go through complicated settings. When a registered Bluetooth® device is in close proximity to the receiver, the auto connection function automatically pairs the two units.

If you have a compatible audio player device that also features built-in Bluetooth®, you have the ability to wirelessly stream (A2DP) and control audio (AVRCP) to the receiver.

THE CONNECTED CAR

With AppRadio Mode for iPhone®, Pioneer has taken the technology from our revolutionary, game-changing AppRadio and placed it in the AVH-X4500BT so you can experience control of compatible apps directly on your dash! When connected to an iPhone® 5,  iPhone® 4S or iPhone® 4 using the appropriate interface cable (sold separately) and loaded with Pioneer's free AppRadio application, you can enjoy full on-screen access and control of your contacts, calendar, maps, and more with an intuitive interface, formatted and designed specifically for safer in-vehicle operation. Pioneer has teamed up with app providers to offer compatibility with many of today’s most popular in-vehicle apps, while also developing an expanding catalog of compatible apps for future features and functions that can be easily and seamlessly added.

AppRadioLIVE simplifies your drive by combining the information you need during your commute into a single, simple to use interface. It’s YOUR digital lifestyle connected. It was specifically designed based on feedback from our current AppRadio customers and offers quick and easy access to personalized information needed in the in-vehicle environment including: Maps, Media, News and Calendar. AppRadioLIVE pulls content from many different sources and services which you likely already have an account with. All you have to do is download the FREE AppRadioLIVE app and sync your services. All you information saved on those accounts will be pulled into the AppRadioLIVE interface.

Pandora is personalized internet radio that is designed to help you discover new music that you'll love mixed in with music that you already know. With the AVH-X4500BT, you can enjoy superior sound quality and full control of the Pandora experience in your car directly from the touchscreen display of the receiver. You are able to give tracks "thumbs up" or "thumbs down," bookmark a song so you can purchase it later, easily switch between your personalized radio stations, and view full track data and album art.

In-dash control for Pandora is compatible with iPhone or Android devices. Simply download the free Pandora Radio app to your iPhone or Android device and connect it to the AVH-X4500BT and take your music to the next level. If you are using an iPhone you will need to connect to the receiver with the appropriate interface cable (sold separately). If you are using an Android device, the phone must be paired via Bluetooth to the receiver.

USB DIRECT CONTROL FOR iPOD®/iPHONE®

Pioneer's AVH-X4500BT  is ready to roll with direct connectivity to your iPod® or iPhone® for music and video via the optional USB interface cable . Song, artist, time and album information are beautifully displayed on the 7" touchscreen. Powerful tools such as Link Search and Alphabet Search to help you find content faster. The system's wired USB connection provides direct digital signal transfer from the device for clean, clear sound while providing 1 amp of current to keep your iPod®/iPhone® charged.

CUSTOMIZE IT

Select among five (Blue/Red/Amber/Green/Violet) colors for the display and 112 different colors to match unit illumination to your vehicle's interior lighting. Also choose from several background images to suit your mood.
