Left and Right Channel Independent Power Supply
Large, independently mounted DC-DC converter power supplies direct electric current with superior stability and effectiveness. The DC-DC power supply is mounted away from the PRS-A900's amplification circuitry and isolated with dividers to prevent jitter noise and to improve the signal to noise (S/N) ratio.

Current Feedback-Type Amplifier Circuit
Distinctive characteristics of this circuit include: high slew rate of 70 V/µ sec. which allows for precise output gain while perfectly following a sharp rise of input signal; wide range linear amplification of input signal, with less tendency to overshoot/ undershoot; and very low distortion while driving high output power.

H-shaped Chassis
The conditions inside an automobile aren't always conducive to faithful audio reproduction. The natural vibrations of a vehicle as it cruises down the road can be transferred to the components inside an amplifier- causing audible distortion. Advanced resonance frequency testing on various back cover chassis designs led to Pioneer’s development of the “H” form chassis, which stabilizes the amplifier and it's internal componentry by absorbing outer vibration with superior speed.
