What is Zero Calibration?

This is a function to record, in the memory of the sensor, the state of the strain gauges when there is no load on the pedals. The zero calibration procedure will re-calibrate the sensors to their factory zero points and is required to offset "drift" associated with the deflection characteristics of the pedal arm in different temperatures. Pioneer Power Meters will automatically record up to 6 different temperature ranges.
