How is Zero Calibration carried out?

There are two ways to carry out Zero Calibration. Spin the crank to "wake up" the sensors.
[Using the ZeroCal application]
1. Position the crank so that the crank arms are vertical.
2. On the Options screen of the SGX-CA500, touch the [ZeroCal] icon to start the application.
3. Select LR combined calibration.
4. When calibration is finished, check the values given for [Radial] and [Tangential] forces on each side.
If these are both within the range +/-3 then calibration has been completed successfully.

[From the [Sensor] menu]
1. Position the crank so that the crank arms are vertical.
2. On the Homescreen of the CGX-CA500, touch the [Sensor] icon, and select the [Pedaling Sensor R] Option, then [Calibration (Zero)]
3. Press [Calibration Start]. The operation should complete in around 5 seconds
4. When calibration is finished, checkthe values given for [Radial] and [Tangential] force on each side.
If these are both within the range +/-3 then calibration has been completed successfully.
Repeat the same for [Pedaling Sensor L].
